this beach is great for kids and adults alike. Great snorkeling,
and the site of many kayak and canoe launches. Lifeguard present

along Alii Drive close to Dolphin
Den, this beach is also fondly known to locals as "disappearing
sands" when high surf covers the sandy beach. This happens
only rarely, and this beach serves as a major Kona attraction.
